The Position
We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer who has strong generalist skills but also enjoys working with IP Telephony solutions. You will work with a dynamic team of exceptional engineers to implement, manage and maintain systems for our diverse client base in addition to taking responsibility for our IP Tel offering.
More specifically, during your average day you will:
- Implement and maintain hosted telephony solutions using 3CX and Teams
- Maintain and enhance infrastructure systems for a regular client base
- Provide advice on appropriate solutions to your clients
- Implement & manage server and network infrastructure for our managed clients
- Provide remote and onsite IT support as a senior point of escalation
The Person
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of professional engineering experience with a systems integrator or multi network environment. To be successful you must demonstrate advanced technical skills with the following:
- Phone system technologies including Teams Calling, 3CX, SIP and VOIP
- Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Windows 10
- Microsoft server operating system - 2012R2, 2016 & 2019
- Microsoft Exchange 2016,2019 / Office 365 (Exchange Online & Hybrid)
- VMware ESXi, vSphere,SAN
- Backup technologies (eg Cloudberry, ShadowProtect and Veeam)
- NAS experience
The following experience and certifications will also be highly regarded:
- ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Automate
- AWS / Azure
- MikroTik – RouterOS
- Network experience with Unify switching and WIFI AP
- Microsoft Defender ATP
- Azure MFA or DUO MFA
- Understanding of PowerShell scripts
This position will be based both in our office and onsite with our clients. As such your communication skills and presentation will be paramount to your success.
