Sentrian stepping out for STEPtember

Our team at Sentrian have always enjoyed an active challenge! For many years we have participated in events and fundraising activities, including many Bridge to Brisbane's, the Oxfam Trailwalker and more recently trail running events. Right now we have a team of 15 committed to walking 10,000 steps for 28 days in September to raise funds for another great cause, cerebral palsy through the STEPtember challenge.

Cerebral palsy is the most common physical disability in childhood and over 37,000 Australians are reported to live with CP. Although not uncommon (every 15 hours a baby is born with CP in Australia), more research is essential to establishing early intervention and stem cell treatments, and equipment is essential for mobility and communication.

The Sentrian team are half way through the challenge, that's 2,100,000 steps taken so far! To support our team please see our fundraising page.

In addition to helping raise awareness and funds for a great cause, we are also enjoying the benefit of a group activity while we all work remotely. Sentrian currently have a restricted number working in the office each day so we're not the social bunch we usually are. This challenge has been a great way to get together while we work apart and we have welcomed having our Sydney and Perth colleagues join the challenge.
