AI now sits at the centre of how modern organisations operate. At Sentrian, we guide businesses through that change, and we apply the same principles to our own work.
Everyone at Sentrian is trained in Copilot AI, and our technical team builds custom workflows to help remove repetitive tasks and streamline decision making.
Our team of engineers, consultants, and operations specialists put AI to use in lots of ways, and we’re going to let you in on a few of them. Effectiveness and security stay at the top of our priorities when using AI – along with innovation and creativity.
Copilot Agent Mode for Excel
Copilot for Excel is improving rapidly, and its new Agent Mode is one of our favourites. When we’re working with large or “messy” datasets, the Agent instantly transforms raw information into clear, meaningful visuals.
This feature helps us bypass manual data preparation and design work. It shortens the time it takes to understand insights and makes it easier to communicate data to clients and colleagues.

Meeting insights assistant
Every internal meeting at Sentrian is supported by an AI meeting insights assistant. The notetaker joins automatically, and can even join in-person meetings. It provides a transcript, summarised notes, and collated actions.
The result is consistent, reliable documentation that keeps teams aligned. Anyone who misses a meeting receives accurate notes automatically. This function helps stay focused on meaningful discussion instead of typing or scribbling furiously to keep up.

HR Agent
We’ve built a custom Copilot Agent for our Head of People & Culture, Sophia. It draws from a SharePoint library of HR articles and resources, weekly staff feedback surveys, benchmarking data from similar organisations, and legislation updates from Queensland and across Australia.
Sophia uses the Agent to:
- Recommend upcoming employee benefits based on real team feedback
- Track employment‑related legislative changes
- Benchmark Sentrian against trends in similar businesses.
When she asks the Agent for reward and recognition ideas, it responds with suggestions based on its collective knowledge sources.

Custom update round-ups
Copilot remains our most trusted AI platform. Updates roll out frequently, and staying across them can be challenging.
To streamline this, our team created a bot that monitors Copilot releases, identifies changes that matter to us, summarises them, and posts them directly to a Slack channel and our inboxes. It keeps the team informed without anyone needing to manually track announcements.
These types of bots can be adapted to any topic and trained to prioritise the type of information most relevant to a company, team, or role.

Copywriting Agents
Our marketing team uses several Copilot Agents to support copywriting. They help maintain consistency in tone, branding, and language, and reduce repetitive work such as re‑entering prompts or proofreading for style alignment.
The Agents deepen their understanding of Sentrian’s brand each time they assist, helping deliver higher quality, more consistent work. All content is still written by people, with AI providing support on the operational elements. This very article was reviewed with the help of AI – but still written by people here at Sentrian.

Bringing AI into your organisation
AI in the workplace is as much about people as it is about technology. Microsoft’s 11‑by‑11 Principle guides our approach: 11 minutes a day over 11 weeks is enough for people to build confidence and capability with AI tools.
We help organisations across Australia adopt AI in a strategic and secure way, while supporting teams through change. AI offers opportunities to work smarter and free people from low‑value tasks so they can focus on meaningful work.
